FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  1. EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS:

    Shipping costs are non refundable.
    30 days for refunds and exchanges
    Mechanical Movements MUST be returned in their ORIGINAL box and packed exactly how you received it in order to receive a refund.
    We are not responsible for any damage in shipping the movement back to us so insurance is the responsibility of the customer, if you so choose.
    Exchanges/returns can be mailed to Clockworks, PO Box 339, Huntington, MA 01050  make sure to include a note stating your contact information and what you need for us to do with the merchandise you sent back (i.e. refund, different post length, etc).
    Exchanges will be sent out via USPS parcel post within 3 days of receiving your package. Please allow 7-10 business days to receive it.
     

  2. SHIPPING:

    Orders will be shipped within 2-3 days upon receipt of the order.
    Delivery confirmation is required.
    Minimum shipping charge is $7.29

    International Orders

    Clockworks.com is in the USA. International orders are welcomed, but unfortunately the cart will not calculate shipping to your country unless UPS is selected and this could be quite expensive. United States Postal Service is LESS costly but the cart does not calculate international shipping. If you would like to order from our site, but do not want to pay high shipping charges, please place your order and select USPS parcel post for $7.29. We will calculate your real postage on USPS.com and email a quote on the price difference. Once we receive your approval, we will resubmit your credit card for the difference in shipping and your merchandise will be sent out. Your card will not be additionally charged and your merchandise will not be shipped until we get this email confirmation!  
    If you choose to cancel your order, the entire amount will be refunded.

     

  3. CATALOGS:

    Due to the constantly changing inventory and price fluctuations in this industry, we do not print a physical catalog any longer. Instead, we try to keep this website up to date, as much as possible, with the current stock and pricing. Even still, we end up with items on back order sometimes. If you are in a rush for a certain product, it is best to check if the item is in stock before you order it next day air or similar.

    Please understand the phone lines are incredibly tied up during the day and it can be difficult to reach us. If you leave us a message, rest assured we will call you back, however it may not be until after hours or the next day. We highly encourage customers to email us.
     

  5. BACKORDERS:

    If an item you ordered is not currently available (back ordered), you will receive an email stating that this is the case and it will be shipped to you as soon as the item is available. Please understand that we do our best to keep our stock full, however because we do carry top of the line German products, we have to wait for shipments to arrive from there. We have no control over when shipments depart from Germany or how long it will take for the freight to get here.
     

  6. BUYING USED CLOCK AND WATCH SUPPLIES:

    If you, or you know of someone, who is retiring or has an excess of clock or watch movements, parts, tools, accessories, supplies, etc. hanging around, give us a call. We would be happy to discuss what you have and see if we can come to some mutually beneficial arrangement.
