JAUCH TO HERMLE
1-888-200-7445
We offer only the best grade of movements with no plastic
components
Every movement comes with a 2 year warrantee and some free installation videos
|
Jauch is out of
business and NO movements are available. |
The following modifications are usually required:
Dial must be attached to the case.
Chime block may or may not have to come in a little more in the case.
Movement would have to be shimmed (we provide the shims and instructions)
New lead weight would be installed into the existing right hand chime weight shell. This will be provided.
Top hook on the pendulum will have to get swapped with one that is provided.
The pendulum may or may not have to get shortened. If the clock is too slow even with the bob all the way up, the pendulum stick must get cut 1 1/2 shorter.
If you have further questions on this you can call James at the toll free number. With the modifications listed, you will have a new movement for this clock case and if you ever want to, you can upgrade the pendulum to a fancy metal Lyre style.
If this does not work out for you and you have the original packaging so it can be resold as new, you can return this kit for a refund.

Advantages of a repair: You do not have to modify the dial or
pendulum top hook.
|
Advantages of replacing: The movement is much easier to get
parts for.
|
|
Disadvantages of a repair: You will have to have it done all
over again in 5 to 10 years.
|
Disadvantages of replacing: Some modifications maybe required
such as listed on this page.
|
Overall it is our opinion after working with
these clocks for years that a replacement makes more sense than a repair on the
unit.
