DIRECTIONS: You need the make of the movement such as Hermle, Kieninger or Urgos, then the movement number itself. This information is most likely not on the paperwork that came with the clock, the information you need is on the back plate of the movement itself. Even though the case may say its a Howard Miller or Ridgeway or some other name like this, these cabinet makers all used the below movement manufacturers. NOTE: In general, on German units except for tubular bell, the time weight is the same as the strike weight if a wood stick pendulum is used, and the same as the chime weight on a Westminster if using a Lyre pendulum of 6.5 in or more is used. |
