I have an Enfield Grandfather clock that dates from the 1930’s or 1940’s. It is stamped on the front and back with the number 5724. The back is stamped with the following: PL116 and directly below is PS60. Can someone explain what these refer too? Thanks!
That is Jauch. Read all about it this link

Thanks James. Now I’ve got a place to start. I have the clock running, but the quarter hour chimes all happen only on the hour, the hour strikes the correct hour, just not all the time.
This is my “learning ” clock repair. We’ll see what happens!
