I was given a rustic hand made clock. The class plate in front needs to be secured to the door. It was taped on the perimeter. I am looking for clips, or pins to secure the glass to the door.

I have a cuckoo clock with a Herr mechanism. My 3 year old pulled the time chain out of the clock and lost the chain. Will this kit plus a chain resolve my problem? How difficult is it to replace the chain?

A cuckoo movement, if you have a sensitive clock, may not run when it isn’t flush to the wall and plumb. However some clocks won’t run when they are straight. Try tilting the clock a little bit at a time to one side then the other until you find where it will run. You can adjust the clock by bending the crutch very slightly. There are several websites that explain this further. If the clock still won’t run it may be dirty. It doesn’t take a lot of dust to stop them.
