The parts such as barrels and wheels are not the same on the older style units. Please be sure the clock movement that the parts are purchased for looks the same as in the following picture.

Please advise why my kieninger 60′ grandfather clock runs 30 min. – 2 hrs. And stops. Clock is level and in beat. Hands not touching each other or dial, yet, minute hand stops and pendulum. Something appears to be stopping minute hand. Any ideas?
Please run the clock with no dial or hands on it.
Be sure the cables are not hitting the seat board
Make sure the cables are not crossing themselves this will stop the clock from working.
Be sure the pendulum and its leader is not rubbing the seat board at all.
The clock case top should not be touching the wall. If the top of the case is against the wall the clock will stop when the pendulum bob and weights are the same height.
Put the clock in beat
This can be done on most clocks by slightly pushing the pendulum one way or another beyond its resistance to far to one side. This will affect the tick and tock and the idea is to get this to be evenly spaced in time as in tick tock tick tock,
not ticktock ticktock, or even tocktick tocktick

Does anyone know where I can purchase a refurbished or decent pendulum for my Sligh 0864-2-AN? The pendulum fell straight down shearing the timing belt. I was told that I would need a new pendulum as this is all, on piece? I was given a price of $300. Is this fair? I’m disabled and really can’t afford to start rebuilding the entire clock before I finally fix the problem. It is a beautiful piece, its been in this condition for three months now, and it truly sickens me to see it this way. Any help would be much, much appreciated.

That price is way to high. Yes we have them. We only need the answer to these two questions 1. What is the CM length stamped on the back plate of the movement itself?
2. How wide is the inside of the clock case where the pendulum will swing ?
