Urgos Clock Conversion Chart
The Urgos clock conversion chart is an essential reference when the old unit is not included on the list. This situation often arises because the numbering system changes whenever a movement is reintroduced into production. Initially, the old number was assigned during the first production run of the movement.
However, when production ceased, those numbers remained associated with the discontinued stock. Later, as demand increased and production resumed, a new number was assigned to differentiate it from the original version. Consequently, a single movement can have both an old and a new number, reflecting its production history.
How to Use the Urgos Clock Conversion Chart
If the movement you’re searching for isn’t listed in the links above, the conversion chart will provide a solution. First, locate the old number on the chart and match it to its corresponding new number. Then, with the updated number in hand, search for it using the provided links.
As a result, you can confidently identify and order the correct Urgos clock movement, even when older numbering systems no longer apply. Ultimately, this straightforward process simplifies the task of finding the correct replacement.

If no luck with above
If the above Urgos clock conversion chart produced no results it can still be available. So email us a picture of the back plate of the clock movement. You will receive an email reply asking a series of questions about the movement and possibly some measurements.
Of course, it is not uncommon to have the movement even though it is not listed above. However, if the new one is not available it may still be converted to a similar one made by someone else.

How do I date Urgo JW32/1A 346043?
Ridgeway
Model # 127
Serial # 893
They changed that number to 32319 about 35 years ago. So it is over that age, and post 1950.

I have an Ethan Allen floor Grandfather Clock model #3027. New Urgos movement number?
What are the numbers off of the back plate of the clock movement itself? If it is hard to get to, usually you can stick a cell phone up behind the movement and get a picture of the numbers. Or through the side access panel if there is one.
Not off the paper work, not off the wooden case, but the movement stamp itself

or

You would need to select a bob diameter that is 4 inches smaller than the inside width of the clock case.

The number is from the lower clock back plate. There is also an Urgos marking, a ‘Made in Germany’ and, on the bottom right, the number 12.
Should be more info on the back, got a pic ?

Hello, I was hoping you could help provide some information about a mantel clock I just inherited from my father. Based on the marks, I believe it’s a German Urgos 48050, however, I don’t know the year. It plays Westminster and Whittington chimes. Thank you very much.

was is the replacement # for Urgos mantel clock UW06036a from zgermany
No longer made. Conversion instead to Hermle. If the dial is 7 1/2 square you can do this =
Bracket dial 7.5 square
https://www.clockworks.com/product/square-bracket-clock-dial
Movement 350-020
https://www.clockworks.com/clock-movement/hermle-clock-movement-340.html
There is a slight chance you will need this also. Chimeblock Style A with 5 rods in 7.5 inch from this link
https://www.clockworks.com/clock-parts/clock-chime-rods-parts.html
Its a matter of three things that can happen with the chimeblock
1. you may need to reverse the direction of the chimeblock and the order of the rods in the block
2. The above wont be able to happen as the rods are immovable, there fore new one needed
3. your chimeblock is fine and pointed the right direction already
I think in your situation you will be the number 3 on that.
Your key / hands should be fine.
If you need drilling its $30 added, if you want to do it on your end you can just order the above online and check out.
If you want the dial drilled, it will be a special order
